Conducted by a Registered Sleep Technologist, a sleep study, or polysomnogram, is a recording used to identify different sleep stages and to classify various sleep problems. To complete the study, electrodes are placed on your head and chest to measure certain body functions such as eye movement and breathing during your sleep. In order to complete a study, an appointment can be made seven days a week during your normal sleep time. You will spend the night in one our private sleep study rooms. |
