Surgeons in the disciplines of general surgery, orthopaedics, ear/nose/throat (ENT), podiatry (foot) and ophthalmology (eye) are available at MHP to meet your unique needs. They are all well-versed in the latest surgical procedures and technologies. They are long-standing members of the medical community and are equipped to meet the needs of your entire family with skill, care and compassion.

All of the nursing staff is specially trained in critical care nursing and are ready to respond at a moment’s notice if emergent situations arise. Two Surgical Services nurses were honored in 2010 as “Iowa’s Top 100 Nurses” from the Iowa Hospital Association for their dedication to providing personalized and comprehensive care. Many staff have more than 20 years of operating room experience and strive to make healthcare personal for each patient.
