WELCOME TO THE 10TH ANNUAL 2021 RUN IN THE SUN!
Please join us for the 10th annual Run in the Sun 5K/2K!! Your generosity helps us meet the greatest needs of our patients and families while making a lasting, positive impact in the lives of people in our community. We are thankful for your continued support of Run in the Sun, all funds raised will go to support our Hospice Serenity House and families we serve in their greatest time of need.
The Mahaska Health Foundation 10 Year Run in the Sun 5K/2K Walk helps make it possible to provide compassionate care and services to all individuals in need, regardless of financial situation. You can help us continue to meet those needs by participating in our 10th Annual Run in the Sun, Saturday, August 7th at the Lacey Recreation Complex Community Stadium in Oskaloosa. We are so excited for this year’s event and we hope to see you there!

- Online Registration is now closed. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday August 7th! In-person Registration will be available from 7:00AM-8:00AM.
- The 5k Run includes electronic chip timing. Medals are awarded for the top three male and female finishers in each age category!
- All ages, abilities, and even strollers are welcomed to join in the 2k Walk!
- Please note, the stadium does not allow dogs.
- Take home a wildflower seed bomb to plant in your yard to continue the memory of your loved one each year that the flowers bloom.
- Participant safety is of utmost importance, please see our 2021 Run in the Sun Weather Cancellation Policy in the event of any threatening weather conditions on the day of the event.
