Hours: Full-time. Shifts will vary between 1st and 2nd shift and every other weekend.
Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Job Requirements: Cooking experience with large volumes of food, Batch cooking, short order cooking, reading recipes, taking verbal and written instructions, using thermometers, team player, comfortable with cooking in front of people, great communication skills, read and follow cleaning schedules, customer service skills.
List of Duties: Temping product, transferring products from pans, assembling and wrapping sandwiches, keeping food stocked in the café during lunch house, using fryers and steamers on a daily basis, writing out menus for patients and co-workers, using fax machine, answering phones, washing dishes, prepping product for patients and café, deep cleaning scheduled followed, slicing meats, cooking and using the flat top for patient and café orders. Putting away groceries including items in the freezer, reading and filling out production sheets and temp logs, sweeping, mopping and running a scrubber on the floors of the kitchen, cleaning flat top grill.
