Hours: Full-time; Monday – Friday 12:30pm – 9pm
Education Requirements: Must have high school diploma, GED or equivalent. Previous customer service experience required.
Preferences: Knowledge of health insurance billing and previous healthcare registration experience preferred.
Duties: Responsible for professionally and efficiently greeting patients and visitors in person or by phone. This position registers emergency department patients, walk in lab and x-ray after hours. Admitting for inpatient, birthing center and Serenity House. Applicants will be required to monitor the Code Blue system as well as the fire alarm system. Must be able to answer and transfer calls that come into the switchboard as well as the confidence to page over. Obtaining signatures, collecting co-payments, and any other duties as assigned by the Director or Coordinator.
