Hours: Part-time; Every Monday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, & Friday 1:00 to 5:00 PM
Education Requirements: Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Requirements: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer service skills, must be detail orientated and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Duties: Greeting all visitors in a professional & courteous manner, answering incoming calls, managing checkout desks & waiting areas, scheduling appointments efficiently & accurately, updating patient demographic and insurance information, sending patient communications to medical staff in a timely and accurate manner, registering patients for services, managing reminder calls, providing patients with information about our patient portal, completing additional daily tasks without prompting, and any other duties assigned by supervisor. Will need to work closely with medical staff in a professional manner and communicate effectively & politely with all other hospital departments.
Preferences: Knowledge of medical insurance. Previous healthcare scheduling or registration experience.
