A certified wound, ostomy, and continence nurse is a nurse who is trained in the specialty of treating patients with acute and chronic wounds, patients with an ostomy, as well as a variety of skin conditions that may arise related to moisture associated skin dermatitis.

Our team works with compassion to dress wounds and promote healing. Whether you are experiencing chronic non-healing wounds, post-surgical/post-traumatic wounds, lower extremity wounds related to lymphedema or PVD, or diabetic wounds, we will work hard to get you on the road to recovery.

To begin your wound care treatment process, your primary care physician will refer you to our wound team specialist. Our specialist will take great care to understand your needs and develop a personalized treatment plan. We will work to provide you and your family with key information about your progress and condition and offer education about preventative care including nutrition education.
