Derrick Simms, PT, DPT, a licensed physical therapist with more than 16 years of experience across outpatient, inpatient and skilled care settings. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.
Derrick provides evidence-based, individualized care with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation, functional mobility, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy. He also holds Level 2 Dry Needling Certification and Level 1 Titleist Performance Institute Certification.
Throughout his career, Derrick has worked closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop treatment plans that support progress, independence, and long-term function. As a physical therapist, Derrick values clear communication and patient education. He helps patients understand their treatment plan, build confidence in their recovery, and develop home exercise programs that support their goals beyond the clinic. He is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
