Dr. Matt Olson is a Hospitalist in Inpatient Services at Mahaska Health. Though he has had multiple careers prior to practicing medicine, Dr. Olson wanted something more service-oriented and medicine was a good fit. Dr. Olson enjoys small midwest towns and chose hospital medicine to provide care for people at fragile and important times, making a real impact on their lives in the short-term. He enjoys getting to know his patients and hearing their stories, connecting with them and their families.
