Epic® and MyChart® bring all information together in one place for our Mahaska Health patients, all in one location, with the benefit of accessing your care information from the comfort of your home, 24/7. All Mahaska Health medical providers are included in this newly upgraded EPIC® system.

Now, at your appointments with your Mahaska Health provider, our patients will receive a comprehensive After Visit Summary that will encompass the services that were received in the hospital and clinic setting. In order to provide the MyChart® app, powered by EPIC® to our patients, Mahaska Health evaluated many vendors that provide electronic patient portal systems to independent Critical Access Hospitals.

As an independent, Critical Access Hospital, Mahaska Health has selected the patient portal vendor that MyUnityPoint utilizes in order to provide the MyChart® app, powered by EPIC® to Mahaska Health patients. You may come across the MyUnityPoint name from time to time when registering for MyChart® access or using a mobile device to access portions of your healthcare information.

The activation code that you receive at your appointment will allow you to activate your new MyChart® account in the Epic® patient portal system.
