On Saturday, April 12, 2025, Mahaska Health hosted the 4th Annual Baby Fair. It was an opportunity to connect with expert maternity care through a morning of education, connection, and compassionate support for growing families. From first-time moms to experienced parents, the event welcomed all to learn more about our comprehensive services and family-focused care.

Mahaska Health has been awarded both the Iowa Center of Excellence for Maternity Care & Birthing Center and the Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield Blue Distinction Center+ for Maternity Care, recognizing our expertise in delivering exceptional specialty care for patients and their families.
Guests toured our Center of Excellence for Maternity Care Birthing Center and connected with board-certified OB-GYN physicians Dr. Taylar Swartz Summers and Dr. Garth Summers, pediatric specialist Dr. Holly Van de Voort, our Family Practice & OB physicians, and the dedicated Maternity & Birthing Center Care Team.
