When Should You See an ENT Specialist?

Many patients first visit their Family Medicine provider and are later referred to an ENT. However, if you are experiencing any of the following, it may be time to schedule an appointment with Dr. Pettis:

    • Recurring ear infections or ongoing hearing changes
    • Chronic sinus congestion that doesn’t improve with standard treatment
    • Frequent sore throats, hoarseness, or difficulty swallowing
    • Allergy symptoms that interfere with daily life
    • Loud snoring, sleep apnea, or disrupted sleep
    • Unexplained lumps or swelling in the neck or throat
    • Balance issues or dizziness affecting daily activities

Early evaluation can help provide relief and reduce the risk of complications.
