Mahaska Health is pleased to welcome Katlyn Bombei, PA-C, to its General Surgery team.

Katlyn Bombei is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in General Surgery. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, and her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Cornell College, where she graduated cum laude. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Iowa Physician Assistant Society and the American Academy of Physician Associates.

Katlyn Bombei brings clinical experience across emergency medicine, family medicine, orthopedics, women’s health, pediatrics, cardiology, and surgical care. She is passionate about helping patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout every step of their surgical experience.

Born at Mahaska Health and raised near What Cheer, Iowa, Katlyn Bombei is excited to return to the area and care for the community she calls home.
