hope. strength. courage. 1

This October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we invite you to join us in bringing awareness, compassion, and hope to individuals and families affected by breast cancer. At Mahaska Health, we are proud to provide life-saving screenings, treatment, and support services close to home. This year, we are introducing a community hope. strength. courage. awareness campaign.

Prevention is peace of mind – get the care you need

Mammograms can save lives. We care about you and encourage you to schedule a mammogram once a year with our expert Medical Imaging team here at Mahaska Health. The American College of Radiology recommends getting a screening mammogram every year starting at age 40 or as determined by your family history and individual risk factors. To schedule your mammogram call 641.672.3322.

Join us in recognizing breast cancer awareness

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Mahaska Health is placing pink flags around the Oskaloosa town square. Each flag will be accompanied by a sign recognizing someone special, whether in honor of a survivor, in memory of a loved one, or in support of breast cancer awareness. These signs will be displayed throughout October as a symbol of hope, strength, and courage for our community.
