MARCH 16, 2020

Beginning Monday, March 16th, all patients and visitors entering Mahaska Health facilities, including the New Sharon Medical Center and William Penn University Clinic, will undergo a brief health screening. These screening check-ins will be located at all entrances and are an extension of Mahaska Health’s patient registration.

Mahaska Health is dedicated to protecting the health of our patients and community. The implementation of these screenings is a proactive measure based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and the Iowa Department of Public Health.

The cooperation and patience of the public is appreciated as Mahaska Health continues to work with state and local health organizations on plans to protect our patients and community as the COVID-19 situation evolves.
