Introducing Dr. Jesse Van Maanen, one of our exceptional board-certified general surgeons at Mahaska Health! As a native of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Dr. Van Maanen is passionate about serving his hometown community and providing the highest level of surgical care.
Dr. Van Maanen received his medical degree from the University of Iowa and completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. At Mahaska Health, Dr. Van Maanen provides a wide range of surgical services, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries, hernia repairs, gallbladder surgeries, oncology surgery services and more.
