Anna Throckmorton, ARNP began serving as a nurse practitioner at Mahaska Health in September 2019. For many patients, Anna will be a familiar face as she has been a part of the Mahaska Health family for the past 15 years serving in various capacities, most recently as a registered nurse in the Birthing Center.
Anna, an Oskaloosa native, finds fulfillment in helping others with their individual health struggles and being the bridge towards an ultimate solution. She enjoys working together with her patients as a team to decide what is truly best for the patient, and focuses on open communication and honesty. Anna’s health interests include management of chronic conditions, mental health support and improving her patient’s health throughout their life span.
In her spare time, Anna enjoys spending time making memories with her family, whether that means barbequing in the backyard or taking a walk around Lake Keomah. Anna has chosen to practice at Mahaska Health because it is where she began her career and is ‘home’ for her.
