Bryce Hoffman, MD, MA 1

Bryce Hoffman, MD, MA is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician who provides expert critical care. Dr. Hoffman earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, KS. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at the Carver College of Medicine, University of Iowa, in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Hoffman has extensive experience caring for patients in rural and regional emergency departments throughout Iowa.

He has served in numerous medical leadership positions including multiple Medical Director roles, Advanced Life Support instruction, and Attending Physician and Clinical Instructor. He earned the Emergency Department Faculty Teaching Award multiple years at MercyOne Hospital in Des Moines, IA.

Dr. Hoffman was born and raised in Iowa and returned to the state after medical school to care for family and raise his children. His professional interests include rural emergency medicine, pre-hospital care, and process improvement in emergency settings. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, swimming, carving precious opal, and practicing his faith.
