
Craig Hoffman, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiac Electrophysiology and the management of heart rhythm disorders. He brings over 20 years of advanced cardiac experience to Mahaska Health, with a focus on atrial fibrillation care, cardiac rhythm management devices, and diagnostic testing.
Craig began his career at Mayo Clinic as a Certified Cardiopulmonary Exercise Specialist, where he gained expertise in cardiac rehabilitation and exercise physiology. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in Health Studies from Iowa State University.
For more than two decades, Craig has served with the Iowa Heart Center, where he has worked extensively in outpatient electrophysiology, patient education, and cardiac research. He has coauthored several clinical studies on atrial fibrillation ablation techniques and continues to mentor students in the field of cardiology. We are honored to have Craig join the Cardiology team at Mahaska Health.
Craig is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holds advanced certifications in electrophysiology and cardiac life support. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based cardiovascular care that empowers patients to achieve long-term heart health.
