Dr. Kamerath is a Mahaska Health Emergency Medicine Physician serving the emergent needs of rural Iowa. As a native of small-town Utah, Dr. Kamerath was excited to experience medical training in Iowa because it felt just like home. Dr. Kamerath is driven by a need to be prepared for any emergency and takes pride and joy from helping people through some of their worst moments. Dr. Kamerath enjoys seeing the full spectrum of patients from young children to the elderly and from complex medical emergencies to traumatic injuries.
Dr. Kamerath’s professional interests include point of care ultrasonography, electrocardiography, and toxicology.
