Kyle B. Brown, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who specializes in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Brown earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts and completed his Family Medicine residency at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center through the Iowa Medical Education Collaborative.
Before becoming a physician, Dr. Brown had an extensive background working in prehospital emergency care as a paramedic. This experience shaped his practical, team-based approach to emergency medicine and understanding of EMS operations.
In addition to his medical practice, is a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine. He enjoys the outdoors and is involved in teaching diverse wilderness and environmental medicine topics.
Born and raised in Des Moines, IA, Dr. Brown holds a life-long connection to the community he serves.
