Lauren Terpstra, PT, DPT, CLT, values the opportunity to teach people how to be physically aware of their body and the way it moves. She finds incredible fulfillment in playing a part in restoring a person’s overall function and quality of life, decreasing their pain, and helping them return to doing the things they love to do.
For over 15 years, Lauren has approached physical therapy with an individualized and holistic viewpoint, taking into account the whole picture of a patient’s life. She desires for patients to be part of their healthcare journey and loves opportunities to educate them on ways to improve their daily functions.
Lauren sees practicing at Mahaska Health provides an opportunity to help patients with a wide variety of diagnoses. She is driven to help patients restore movement and get back to their daily lives.
Outside of work, Lauren loves spending time with her family. You can find them cheering on the Hawkeyes, staying active outside, settling in with a book, or enjoying a meal at the Wood Iron Grille in Oskaloosa.
