Robert Pettis, MD is a board-certified, fellowship-trained otolaryngologist specializing in head and neck surgery. He provides expert care for disorders of the ears, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck.
Dr. Pettis earned his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he also completed his residency in otolaryngology. He pursued advanced fellowship training in allergy and rhinology with the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy, focusing on sinus surgery and head and neck cancers.
Dr. Pettis serves as volunteer faculty training medical students and residents at UCLA. He is the medical and surgical director of Orange Coast Head and Neck Surgery and is the director of the otolaryngology department of Adventist Health in Fort Bragg in Northern California. Dr. Pettis’ specialty training in rhinology and sinus surgery and in head and neck cancers. He utilizes advanced robotic instrumentation and technology. Dr. Pettis has nearly 20 years of academic research, teaching and surgical experience.
