Family Medicine physician Sean Crawford, DO is an Iowa native, working to build a healthy community around him in Mahaska county. Dr. Crawford is no stranger to Mahaska Health because he spent his third year of medical school training with the talented team of Family Medicine physicians. During that year, Dr. Crawford saw the camaraderie of the Mahaska Health team and the wider community and that inspired him to start his medical career as a Mahaska Health physician.
Dr. Crawford specializes in adult medicine and approaches medicine in a personal way. He believes in establishing communication and trust with his patients to be able to treat them in a way that best suits them. When Dr. Crawford isn’t taking care of patients, he enjoys reading, playing drums, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying local restaurants and coffee shops.
