Tara Stout, DNP, ARNP joined Mahaska Health in December 2019 after receiving her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. Many may know her as she spent some time at Mahaska Health during her clinical rotations with Dr. O’Brien and Tonya Johannes. Tara grew up in Sully, Iowa and lives on a farm with her husband and children in New Sharon. She’s excited to stay in Mahaska County long-term with her family and build relationships with her patients. Tara has a passion to help the community in which she lives. As she provides care to families, she understands being open-minded and listening are important to finding a solution together. Tara strives to truly get to know her patients and partner with them to achieve their health goals. In her free time, she enjoys warmer weather and simply loves spending time with friends and family.
