Mahaska Health is expanding its care and services by welcoming Dr. Taylar Swartz Summers to our new OB/GYN Women’s Health team!
Taylar Swartz Summers, DO, MPH provides patient-centered care for women of all ages. As an OB/GYN, she enjoys helping women from adolescence through menopause and onward.
Dr. Summers earned a Master of Public Health from the College of Public Health at Des Moines University. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. From utilizing cutting-edge technology such as the da Vinci Surgical System to supporting patients with fertility, Dr. Swartz Summers helps patients using the latest evidence-based medicine.
As a Fremont, Iowa native, Dr. Swartz Summers is glad to be part of the Oskaloosa community and live near her hometown. When she isn’t providing expert, compassionate care to patients, she enjoys exercising, reading and HGTV.
