Tessa Van Maanen, MS, CCC-SLP, is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist at Mahaska Health. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska in Omaha.
Tessa brings valuable experience supporting individuals across all ages and is dedicated to providing compassionate care tailored to each patient’s communication goals. She offers therapy for speech, language, voice, and swallowing challenges, working closely with patients, their families, and our care teams to create individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s unique needs and priorities.
A native of Sully and New Sharon, Iowa, Tessa enjoys golfing, cooking and baking, spending time with her dogs, and being with family and friends.
