Chief Medical Officer and General Surgeon Tim Breon, MD, FACS, is an experienced, Board Certified Surgeon specializing in traditional, laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgical treatments. Dr Breon has training and experience in a broad range of surgical care necessary to appropriately serve a rural population in a community-based hospital. His unique skill set helps support other specialty surgical services that have come to Mahaska Health to serve our communities surgical needs. He grew up on a farm near Hedrick, Iowa. He chose to practice at Mahaska Health to ensure advanced surgical care, focused on the whole body, is available to all patients in need of routine or emergent intervention.
